Tampa Sign Shop FAQ: Pricing, Turnaround & Installation

We work with a range of materials in-house: acrylic in clear, frosted, painted, and printed finishes; brushed and painted aluminum composite for that solid-metal lobby look; PVC and high-density foam for large dimensional lettering; MDF; and vinyl graphics. We integrate LED lighting for halo-lit and backlit signs. We do not weld, so welded aluminum channel letters and sign cabinets are outside what we build — we will tell you up front if that is what your project needs.

Yes. Custom work is the core of what we do — everything is built to your specifications, not pulled from a template. We handle design-to-build under one roof: CAD layout, CNC routing and cutting, painting and finishing, direct printing, LED wiring, and installation. That covers lobby and reception signage, dimensional letters, illuminated logos, ADA signage, printed displays, and personalised pieces. What it does not cover is welded metal fabrication, which we do not do.

Absolutely. We offer one-on-one design help as part of our process. With backgrounds in architecture, manufacturing, and project management, we work with you from concept through final drawings using CAD, often compositing the sign onto a photo of your actual wall. Because design and fabrication happen under one roof, we can refine ideas, suggest materials, and prototype before production. This keeps your project accurate and helps avoid surprises once we move to the build stage.

Timelines vary by project, since each one is custom. Factors include design complexity, material availability, quantity, finishing, and our current production queue. After we understand your scope, we provide an estimated timeline with your quote. We do offer rush options when possible, but availability always depends on material, design approval, and current workload. We will be upfront about what is realistic so you can plan around your schedule.

Yes. For custom work, a deposit is typical before we begin design and fabrication. Because materials are ordered and production time is reserved specifically for your project, the deposit secures your spot in our queue and covers initial material and design costs. We will outline the deposit amount and payment terms in your quote so everything is clear before any work starts.

Changes are usually possible during the design phase, before fabrication begins. Once a design is approved and we move into production, changes become harder and may affect cost and timeline, since materials may already be cut or in progress. We encourage finalizing details during design review. If something needs to change mid-project, contact us right away and we will let you know what is feasible.

Yes. We offer installation throughout Tampa and the greater Tampa Bay area, including South Tampa, Carrollwood, Westchase, Town 'N' Country, Brandon, Wesley Chapel, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater. Because we design and fabricate in-house, our team understands how each piece is built and how it should be mounted. We will discuss installation requirements, site access, and any electrical needs for illuminated signs as part of your project planning.

Yes. For projects in Tampa and the surrounding Tampa Bay area, we can arrange local delivery and, where applicable, installation. For larger or out-of-area pieces, we can discuss shipping options based on the size, weight, and material of your fabrication.
