Custom Signs in Tampa, Designed and Built Under One Roof

Design, cutting, finishing, and installation all happen in-house, so quotes and production move fast.

- Commercial & event projects
When you search for custom signs in Tampa, you usually need two things at once: a sign that looks right and a shop that can actually build it on time. Bryan Fabrication Works does both. We are a Tampa custom sign company that designs, fabricates, and finishes signage in our own shop on W Linebaugh Ave, working with metal, acrylic, MDF, vinyl graphics, and integrated LED lighting. Whether you run a storefront in South Tampa, manage an office in Westchase, or are planning an event in Carrollwood, you work directly with the people building your sign.
A Tampa sign shop that handles the whole job
Plenty of sign work in Tampa gets split across a broker, a remote designer, and a print vendor you never speak to. We keep it together. Our team brings 20+ years of combined experience across architecture, metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, and construction project management, which means we can take a project from a rough idea or a logo file through CAD design, CNC cutting, 3D modeling, fabrication, and finishing without handing it off.
That in-house, design-to-build approach is the practical reason our quotes and production tend to be fast: nobody is waiting on an outside shop to schedule your job. It also means materials advice is honest. We will tell you when acrylic is the smarter call than metal, when a printed face beats routed lettering, and when a simpler build gets you the same result for less.
Every type of custom sign, from storefront to lobby
As a custom sign shop in Tampa, we cover the formats businesses and families actually ask us for. Lobby and logo signs are the heart of what we build — reception walls, logo panels, and office identity in acrylic, PVC, and brushed metal-finish composite. Custom acrylic signs give you that clean, dimensional look, and LED backlit signs add a halo glow behind a logo for interiors and covered storefronts. Dimensional lettering puts your name on the wall with real depth.
We also produce ADA signs built to ADA guidelines for offices, medical suites, and multi-tenant buildings, printed panels and easel displays for events and hotels, and custom personal work — memorial and celebration of life boards, graduation signs, photo displays, and engraved gifts. If you are not sure which format fits, describe the space and we will tell you what we would build.
How a custom sign project works with us
Most projects start with a quick conversation about what the sign is for, where it goes, and when you need it. From there we move into design. You can send a logo, a sketch, a photo, or just a description, and we build out the artwork and confirm sizing, materials, and mounting before anything gets cut.
Once the design is approved, fabrication happens in our shop. Depending on the build, that can involve CNC routing, laser-clean cuts, painting or finishing, LED integration, and assembly. We confirm whether you need installation or a ready-to-mount piece. For commercial work we can coordinate site measurements; for event and personal signs we keep turnaround tight. If you are on a deadline, tell us early so we can be straight with you about what is realistic.
Materials and capabilities behind the signs
What sets a fabrication shop apart from a print-only sign vendor is what we can cut, shape, and finish ourselves. We work in acrylic for crisp interior and retail signage, PVC and high-density foam for dimensional letters with depth at a sensible cost, brushed and painted metal-finish composite panel for that premium lobby look, MDF for shaped and painted pieces, and vinyl graphics for rigid signs and branded displays. Integrated LED lighting lets us add halo and backlit effects where they earn their keep.
The same shop handles the design side: CAD layout, CNC routing and laser cutting, 3D modeling and printing, direct-to-substrate printing, and finishing. That range is why we can build a layered logo wall, a printed photo panel, and a set of suite signs as one coordinated package instead of sending pieces out to three different vendors.
One thing we are straight about: we are not a metal fab shop. We do not weld, and we do not build welded aluminum sign cabinets or channel letters. If your project needs that, we will tell you up front rather than take the job and struggle.

Why work with us
Local Tampa shop, not a franchise
We are an independent Tampa sign shop on W Linebaugh Ave. You deal with the people who design and build your sign, not a national call center.
Design to fabrication in-house
CAD, CNC, fabrication, and finishing happen under one roof, which keeps quotes accurate and production moving.
Real materials expertise
Metal, acrylic, MDF, vinyl, and LED lighting, backed by 20+ years combined across fabrication, architecture, and manufacturing.
True custom, not templates
Every sign is built to your space, brand, and use case, including one-off fabricated pieces other shops outsource.
Our shop is on W Linebaugh Ave in Tampa, and we serve the greater Tampa Bay area, including South Tampa, Carrollwood, Westchase, and Town 'N' Country. We also take projects in Brandon, Wesley Chapel, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater for both commercial and event work.
Common questions
We make a broad range of custom signs in Tampa, including lobby and reception logo walls, acrylic and dimensional letters, halo-lit and backlit LED signs, ADA signage, covered-exterior storefront lettering, printed panels, and custom event or personal displays. Because we cut, print, and finish in-house, we also build one-off pieces print-only shops cannot. What we do not do is welded metal signage. Describe your project and we will tell you the best material and format for it.
Turnaround depends on the sign. Simpler acrylic or vinyl pieces move quickly, while halo-lit builds or large multi-piece lobby walls take longer. Because design and fabrication are in-house, we are often faster than shops that outsource. Rush options are sometimes available, but timing depends on material, design approval, and our current production queue, so tell us your deadline up front and we will be straight about what is realistic.
Either works. You can send a finished logo or artwork, or just a sketch, photo, or description and let us handle the design. We offer one-on-one design help and build out the artwork, confirm sizing and materials, and show you the layout before anything is fabricated. Our in-house CAD and 3D modeling let us refine the look until it is right for your space and brand.
We can do both. For many commercial projects we coordinate site measurements and installation; for other jobs we deliver a ready-to-mount sign with mounting guidance. Let us know whether you need installation when you request a quote so we can plan the build and any hardware accordingly. We will confirm the install scope before fabrication starts.
We build ADA signage to ADA guidelines and code, including the tactile and visual elements those guidelines call for, which is what most offices, medical suites, and multi-tenant buildings in Tampa need. We frame this as an accessibility review and build-to-guidelines service rather than a legal compliance certification. If your project has specific permitting or inspection requirements, share them and we will design with those in mind.
